Animal Costume Ideas
There are endless possibilities for animal Halloween costumes. Choose from strange animals, such as an anteater, or a more common animal, such as a domestic dog. You can buy animal costumes or make them with a variety of materials for the tails, ears, fur, fins or teeth.

Dress up as a lion for Halloween. Choose from a variety of cats for your Halloween costume. Dressing up as a cat requires more than wearing a pair of ears and sticking a tail to the back of your pants. Sport the exotic spots of a leopard, cheetah or jaguar by sewing a costume from animal-printed fabric. Sew a tiger costume if you want to wear stripes. Male lions have distinctive manes, which help differentiate them from their female counterparts. Sport a mane made from faux animal fur that fits around your head.
