Simple Interview Questions to Ask the Employer
When going for an interview, prepare questions ahead of time to ask your interviewer. Asking insightful questions shows your interviewer and potential employer that you've done your homework and are genuinely interested in the role for which you're applying. Don't ask questions simply because you're expected to do so: Employers can usually differentiate genuine from manufactured interest.

Ask About the Work Environment
-
Questions that fall under this category include: What is the work environment like on a day-to-day basis? What are your --- the interviewer's --- favorite aspects of your job, and why do you like them? What are some of the ways that this company shows appreciation for its staff?
Ask About the Vacant Position
-
When you ask questions pertaining to the role for which you're interviewing, you show your enthusiasm for the position and demonstrate to the interviewer how much consideration you've given to that specific role. Questions you could ask include: How much training would you provide for the person you hire? When do you expect to fill this position? What is the first task that the new employee will have to take on?

Ask about Performance Evaluation
-
It helps you to find out about performance evaluation during the interview process because you might not get as good an opportunity to do so once you begin the job. Ask such questions as: How will my performance be evaluated? Who will do the evaluation? What are the opportunities for advancement within the company?
Ask About the Employer's Vision for the Company
-
Although certain information, such as a mission statement, may appear on the company's website, an interviewer can usually give you a clearer sense of the direction the company is headed. It's sensible to ask this question because it shows that you're interested in the company on a long-term basis, as well as in the company's vision and potentially contributing to helping achieve that vision. Questions under this category could include: Where do you hope the company will be in five or 10 years? What values does this company strive to uphold?
