Batman and Robin
-
The modern Batman movies have been in production since the 1980s, but Hollywood didn't bring Robin into the mix until 1997, when George Clooney played Batman and Chris O'Donnel acted as Robin. The movie garnered criticism largely as the worst Batman movie ever made. In the 1960s, the "Batman" TV series featured Robin, played by Burt Ward, and Batman, played by Adam West. You and a friend could fashion this duo into a costume at home, though many costume stores carry the dynamic duo. If you make the costumes at home, you will need a black rubber suit with a black cape. Robin wears a red rubber suit with a red cape.
Vincent and Jules
-
In "Pulp Fiction," John Travolta plays Vincent and Samuel L. Jackson plays Jules; both are hit men. They dress the same, with '60s-style black suits on, carrying handguns. Vincent has shoulder-length hair, while Jules has bushy hair resembling a Jheri-curl, along with long sideburns and a mustache. Vincent has 2-inch sideburns and wears a gold loop ring on his right ear. The duo is known mainly for clever dialogue, making intelligent and humorous observations about life.

Neo and Trinity
-
Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, and Trinity, played by Carrie-Anne Moss, in the 1999 movie "The Matrix" wore entirely black clothes. Neo wears a tight shirt, pants, belt, trench coat, sunglasses and boots. His hair is slicked back, and he is often carrying a large gun. Trinity usually wears a tight sleeveless shiny shirt and pants with a belt and silver buckle. She often carries a handgun. The duo meet in the original and then become lovers near the end of the sequel, "The Matrix Reloaded."
Jay and Silent Bob
-
Best friends Jay and Silent Bob stand outside a convenience store, pretty much always. Silent Bob, played by Kevin Smith, doesn't speak and wears a backward hat, trench coat and a sweater over a shirt sticking out at the neck. He has a full beard and long hair that goes down to his shoulders. Jay, played by Jason Mewes, wears a tight black toque and a yellow rain jacket. He has long blond hair that goes down to his upper arm. The duo appear in "Clerks," "Clerks II," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy," "Dogma" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."
