Twitter Login Help

Save

Reset your Twitter password by entering your Twitter username. Even if you have forgotten your username, you can still use your email address or phone number to reset your password.

Reset Password

  • After you have tried a few password attempts without success, click Forgot Password to open Twitter's password reset page. If you know your username, start with it. You will see your profile picture and part of the email address associated with your account. Click Continue to have the reset email sent to this email address. The password reset link included in this email is time-sensitive. So if you click the link and it doesn't work, just request a new one.

Use Email

  • If you are unable to remember your username, use your email address to reset your password. If you use Twitter on your mobile phone, enter your phone number. Select your phone number -- Twitter only shows you the last two digits -- to receive a six-digit code that is valid for 15 minutes. Enter your code on the Web. You will then be prompted to choose a new password.

After you have logged in, make sure the email address and phone number associated with your account is up to date.
