Disney Princess Games
Plan a Disney princess birthday party or social gathering for your little girl. Many little girls love feeling like a princess, and playing a few games will have all the little girls feeling like the princesses they dream they are. A few supplies and some ideas are all you need to get the princess games started. Encourage the girls to play along by awarding princess-themed prizes, like tiaras and princess wands, to game winners.

Sifting for Disney Princess Dolls

Fill a small plastic swimming pool or bucket with clean play sand. If you do not have sand, use cornmeal. Mix small, plastic Disney princess dolls into the sand or cornmeal. Small plastic Disney princess dolls, such as Snow White and Cinderella, are available at most toys stores and online. Give two girls each a sand sifter and have them stand beside the pool. When you say, "Find those princess dolls," the girls have one minute to find as many dolls as they can. The girl who finds the most dolls wins the game. Award her a prize and put all the dolls back in the sand for the next two players.
Disney Princess Hunt

Use the same plastic Disney princess doll toys to hide around the play area for the girls to hunt. Give each girl a small plastic bag and at your signal, have them start hunting for the Disney princesses. The girl who finds the most princesses wins the game and a prize. For another variation, call out the name of a Disney princess and the girl who can find that princess first wins a prize.

Disney Princess Pictures

Place pictures of different Disney princesses on the floor (one less than you have girls). Play some princess music and tell the girls to dance around the pictures. As soon as the music stops, the girls must stand on a picture of a Disney princess. The girl who is not standing on a picture is out of the game. Remove one picture and play again. The last girl standing on a Disney princess picture wins the game and a prize.
Find Snow White's Poison Apple

Take a large bag of green apples and hide them all over the play area. Along with the green apples, hide one red apple. Tell the girls the evil queen (from "Snow White") placed a poison apple in the bunch. The girl who finds the red (poison) apple wins the game and a prize. If you want to award more than one prize, hide more than one red apple. After the girls find the poison apples, allow them to hunt for the green apples for fun.
Kiss the Prince

Print a large picture of a prince and hang it on the wall. Give each girl a Disney princess dress-up outfit to put on for this game. If you do not have enough outfits, allow each girl to wear a Disney princess outfit when it's her turn. Draw or print several pairs of red or pink lips and write each girl's name on a pair of lips. Place double-sided tape on the back of each pair of lips. Blindfold each girl one at a time and spin her three times. Tell her to try to pin the lips on the prince's mouth. The girl who pins the lips closest to the prince's mouth wins the game and a prize. For a variation, put red or pink lipstick on the girls and allow them to kiss the poster, instead of using paper lips.
