J1 visas are allotted to those foreign students who come to the Untied States for an exchange educational program. These jobs are not only available during summers but any season throughout the year. Foreign students need to be fluent in English. Students can earn anywhere between 10 to 20 dollars per hour with these jobs and the working hours may vary throughout a week. Housing and accommodation might not be provided to the students but there are some casinos which provide meals.

If you are looking for a part-time summer job that lasts for two and a half months, then a summer counselor job would be the right choice. Bartending job is creatively satisfying, challenging, and apart from being well paid, there is also a chance to make extra cash through tips. Check with your state to find out what the age restriction is for bartenders; some allow 18-year-olds to bartend, while others require you to be 21.
