Coenzyme Q-10
-
Coenzyme Q 10 (CoQ10), produced by the human body, is necessary for cells to function properly. Levels of CoQ10 production reduce with age. Adding this substance to products and supplements might be beneficial, but that issue is still under debate. People with chronic diseases, such as Parkinson's, cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS tend to have lower than normal levels of CoQ10. Although the product sounds promising, some ingredients may cause adverse side-effects.
Hyaluronic Filling Spheres
-
Hyaluronic filling spheres, commonly found in cosmetics, fill in deep wrinkles. The spheres absorb into the skin of the lips and swell with moisture. This results in increased skin volume, making wrinkles less visible. This micro-reservoir effect provides long-lasting hydration.
