Jak & Daxter Hints & Cheats
The characters Jak and Daxter appear alongside one another in two adventure games named after both. Among them are "Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier" and "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy." Unlock new abilities and items by accomplishing certain tasks. You can also have an easier time with the games by understanding what you need to accomplish in levels and how to take down boss villains.

Collect Orbs

The more orbs you find in "The Lost Frontier," the more extras you can unlock. Collect three orbs to get the Dark Daxter battle helmet and five orbs to give your characters a mustache. Get 10 orbs to increase the size of Jak's head and 15 orbs to increase the head size of your enemies. You can get unlimited ammunition for your plane at 50 orbs and unlimited ammunition for Jak at 60 orbs. Find 80 orbs to become invincible.
"The Precursor Legacy" Hints

If you fall from any cliff, building or high location in "The Precursor Legacy," you lose a chunk of your health meter. To avoid this, wait until you are nearing the ground and hit "Circle" to kick. You won't take any damage like you normally would. "The Precursor Legacy" also features an alternate ending that can only be accessed once you beat the entire game after having collected at least 100 power cells.

"The Lost Frontier" Upgrades

Upgrade your abilities by collecting currency points throughout "The Lost Frontier." The first melee damage upgrade is unlocked at 250 points, while the second comes at 500 points. You get the first enemy infusion upgrade at 300 points and the second at 600 points. Upgrade your amplifier's efficiency for 400 points and its radiation for 550 points. The energy punch is upgraded once for 200 points and again for 500 points. Increase your health meter at 200, 500, 600 and 800 points.
Boss Battles

The dark eco plant is only damaged during certain periods. Hit the insect it sends at you when its spikes go down. Once it is defeated, wait until platforms appear to attack the main boss. The Klawn is beaten once you get it to repeatedly hit itself with rocks it tries to throw at you. Dodge its attacks and hit it repeatedly to get it to drop the rocks on its head. The Precursor robot has multiple attacks. When it shoots laser beams, shoot at the lights firing them. Stand on the blue vent to jump over its bomb attack.
