Simple Artificial Flower Arrangements
Simple artificial flower arrangements not only provide a decorative accent to your home, they can last for years. The key to creating attractive arrangements is to start with quality faux flowers, not cheap plastic ones. You may need to spend more on quality artificial flowers than you would real flowers, but spending $50 on flowers that last years is cheaper than spending $20 on flowers that last a week.

Country Bouquet
-
Turn an old ceramic pitcher into a vase to create a simple flower arrangement with a country style. Arrange six faux sunflowers into a round bouquet. Surround the flowers with faux grass to create an earthy trim around the bouquet. Slide the flowers into the pitcher and set the bouquet on a table.
Colorful Cup
-
A clear drinking glass and beads are all you need to turn artificial lilacs into a simple, yet elegant, flower arrangement. Fill a sparkling clear drinking glass one-third full with semi-opaque blue and white plastic beads. Select three artificial lilacs, one taller than the other two. Slide the three flower clusters into the vase, wiggling the stems into the beads to secure.

Dotted Bouquet
-
Add a whimsical flower arrangement to your home with a mix of yellow and white artificial daisies. Arrange a large, round bouquet of yellow daisies. Slide a few white daisies into the bouquet so that they look like single white dots against a yellow background. Slide the bouquet into a small white vase and tie a thing yellow ribbon in a bow around the rim.
Mini Bowl
-
Any clear vase with a mini-fishbowl shape can hold a simple flower arrangement for your coffee table. Stuff the bowl with a large silk ivy leaf and five pink rose petals. Cut the stem on a large, silk, pink-tipped white rose short. Slide the flower into the vase so that the petals sit right on the rim. Place the arrangement on a coffee or side table.
Basket Bouquet
-
Ribbon and silk poppy flowers give a boring basket a new decorative edge. Wrap a white cotton ribbon around the basket rim and tie it in a small bow. Arrange orange and yellow silk poppies into a short, fat, rounded bouquet. Slide the bouquet into the basket, checking that the petals sit right above the basket mouth.
Stuffed Vase
-
Forget about arranging flowers to sit above the vase mouth and go for a sophisticated arrangement with flowers sitting below the vase mouth. Stuff the bottom of a large, clear glass vase with dried craft moss. Select an artificial orchid branch covered with several cream orchids and cut the branch so it's short enough to slide into the vase without popping above the rim. Cut one flower away from the stem and drop it in the bottom of the vase. Slide the orchid branch into the vase and place the arrangement on a table.
