Invitations
-
Tear squares out of a brown paper sack and write the party details on them. Roll the invitations up like a scroll and tie each one with a piece of twine. For added decoration, place a couple of gummy worms in small burlap squares and tie off with twine. Attach the burlap sacks to the scroll. Hand deliver the invitations to your party guests. For more fun, ask your party guests to dress up in the best Indy attire by wearing items like a fedora hat, military shirts, khaki pants and leather jackets.
Decorations
-
Line tiki torches down both sides of the walkway to the party. Hang a large Indiana Jones poster on the front door or entryway. Indiana Jones-themed tableware and decorations are available online and at some party supply stores. Play an Indiana Jones soundtrack during the party. Decorate the party area with maps, plastic bugs, fake snakes, rubber spiders and fake spider web. Use large Indiana Jones dolls or toys as centerpieces and for balloon bouquets.

Activities
-
Give each party guest two empty toilet paper rolls. Have the guests tape or glue the rolls together and make their own set of binoculars. Attach string to the binoculars so the party guests can wear them around their necks. Give the guests stickers, paint, markers and foil to use to decorate the binoculars. Each guest can take his binoculars home as a party favor and memento of the party. For another activity, give the guests play dough and let them design a snake. See who can design the scariest and longest snake.
Games
-
For a quick game, hide a plastic skull somewhere outside or around the party area. Tell the guests the first one to find the skull wins a prize. You can also try a party favor snake pit by filling a large plastic swimming pool with rubber snakes. Hide party favors, such as candy, plastic or chocolate gold coins, small wood airplanes, toy whips, bandannas, skull balls and sticker sheets, in the pool with the rubber snakes. Allow each party guest 30 seconds to collect some party favors from the "snake pit" to take home.
