Little Mermaid Bathroom Ideas

Decorate with seashells.

Showcase the wonders under the sea by showcasing Disney's "The Little Mermaid" in your little girl's bathroom. Feature items that Ariel would find inside ancient ships, such as old clocks, small treasures and seashells. Paint the walls to match her underwater kingdom, or use wall stickers to bring your vision to life. Don't forget to stock the tub with Little Mermaid treasures and toys.

Paint

Paint the walls turquoise. After the paint has dried, adorn the walls with Little Mermaid stickers. Place them in random spots, or make a border around the bathroom. Paint seashells and trinkets that Ariel might find under the sea, as well.

Collectibles Shelf

A red shelf is a nod to Ariel's hair. Paint the shelf, and place it above the towel rod. Hang Little Mermaid towels from the rod, and adorn the shelf with Little Mermaid collectibles. You can also feature large seashells, mirrors or other items that you think Ariel might find under the sea.

Essentials and Accessories

Place large rugs in the shape of seashells on the floor near the tub and by the sink. Find a fishbowl, and place it on the vanity. Fill the bowl with seashells and plastic fish. Feature Little Mermaid soap dishes, hand towels, toothbrush holders and other accessories.

Tub Toys and Embellishments

Hang a shower curtain that mimics Ariel's undersea kingdom. Buy a curtain with a tropical fish pattern or one featuring Ariel and her friends. Place Little Mermaid nonslip bath mats on the bottom of the tub, and decorate the walls of the tub with suction-cup seashells. Place a plastic bucket in the tub, and fill it with little Mermaid toys.
