One of the most instantaneously recognizable dishes made with breaded chicken is a meal of chicken tenders and fries. The paring of thin strips of breaded and fried chicken breast with deep-fried potato pieces can be found on boardwalks, in fast food restaurants, at classic Americana restaurants and at home. Any variety of sauces can be served along with the chicken tenders and fries, including ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce.

Another meal found at fast food and Americana restaurants is the chicken sandwich. The breaded chicken patty, layered on a bun with lettuce and tomato, can be paired with a variety of sides to create an entire meal. French fries, steamed vegetables such as broccoli, corn or asparagus, and cooked rice are all possible side dishes to serve with a chicken sandwich.

The meal changes in density with the change of pasta and pasta sauce. Spaghetti and tomato sauce can be paired just as easily with breaded chicken as penne and pesto. Add mozzarella cheese for an extra layer of Italian influence.

Mix a Thai peanut sauce together in a blender with 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 1/3 cup water, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, the juice of a lime, 1 tbsp. brown sugar and a pinch of ginger. Chop up the breaded chicken and cook it with the sauce for a change in flavor. Include your favorite side such as a steamed vegetable or salad and you have an entire meal.
