High School Flirting Tips

Flirting is a great way to let someone know that you are interested in him. In high school, boys and girls take clues from their friends on who they should like, so it can be important how their friends perceive you. Teenagers often want to like someone who is cool and someone who they feel will be accepted in their crowd. The more popular the person is, the harder time you will have flirting.

Smile

Smiling is one of the easiest ways to flirt. Look the person in the eye so there's no mistake that the smile is meant for her. Wait for her response. If she smiles back, then you have instant communication and you should go talk to her. Initiate small talk and ask him about a class or if he is going to the next event at the school.

Act Like You Don't Care

A sure way to get someone interested is to smile, talk to him and then act like you don't care. Tease her and act like you don't like her. The more you seem to not like him, the more he will be attracted to you. It's the chase that they love. High school boys and girls want what they think they can't have, so be aloof and give him just enough attention to keep him unsure if you are interested or not. Send text messages and ask what she is doing and then simply stop.

Teasing

Teasing is a good way to get someone interested. A tease is a remark that is out of the ordinary that will get his attention. If he is the football star, tease him by saying he needs to learn how to throw the ball. If she is a cheerleader, tell her that no one can hear her at the games and she needs to take it up a notch. You can always compliment him on his clothes or the good grades she gets.
