Money is a good gift idea, because the couple can buy any gift they want and it won't be a sentimental reminder of you. If you buy a specific gift that goes in the home, like a picture frame, or crystal candleholder, your ex's new bride might see it as a constant reminder of you. Just be warned that it might make your ex's new spouse a bit uncomfortable that you were scouring their wedding registry.
