Brochure Content Ideas
Writing brochure content for your company is important, because potential customers read the brochures. The brochures might factor into potential customers' decision on whether to do business with your company. Make your content engaging enough to hold the attention of the reader all the way through to the end of the copy.
-
Write to the Customer
-
Address the customer directly, as "you." This creates direct impact and a personal association. Explain the benefits of your company and the benefits of the product or service.
Emotional Appeal
-
Fill your brochure with emotionally appealing content. If you're writing content for a cleaning company, explain to the readers that if they hire your cleaning company they will have more free time to spend with their families. Or if your company is a fitness center, tell the readers that exercising at the fitness center will help them tone up, look their best and be the envy of all of their friends.
-
Make the Cover Appealing
-
You must make the cover of the brochure appealing in order to entice people to open it. Put a bold statement or a call to action on the cover. Choose wording that can be related to your company, but that will also intrigue people enough to want to open the brochure and keep reading.
Include a Call to Action
-
After reading your brochure content, you want people to immediately purchase your product or service instead of just considering it. Instruct the reader to call your company, go to your website, or stop into your store "now." You could even include an incentive for them to do this immediately by offering a limited time discount.
