Hilti manufactures a full line of power tools and accessories for the construction industry. Among its products is a line of drills and bits for drilling into masonry (concrete, cement and stone) surfaces. The Hilti DDC T2 drill bit is available in the following English and metric sizes:
English:
6-inch length: 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch and 9/16 inch diameters
12-inch length: 3/4 inch, 13/16 inch, 27/32 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/8 inch, 1 1/4 inch and 1 5/16 inch diameters
Metric:
70-mm length; 8 mm diameter
150-mm length: 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20 mm diameters
300-mm length: 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 28, 30, 32 and 35 mm diameters
Its top fitting is designed expressly to fit the chuck of the Hilti Diamond DD EC-1 coring drill; it is flanged and has a gear-like series of indentations on the flange. The drill bit shaft is finished in the trademark Hilti red color.

The Hilti DD-C T2 is meant for drilling into wet concrete or cement. It is recommended for use when drilling a core into concrete that is soft to medium-hard (not fully dried and set), with a very high degree of steel reinforcement.

Other Details

The Hilti DD-C T2 bit features laser-welded segments. Like all bits in its series, it features easy core removal through the back side of the bit, as well as a core breaking tool. This series is also recommended for drilling into marble, sandstone and tiles.
