You and your coworkers spend most of your day ensconced in a cubicle, so cubicle gifts that spruce up the workspace and bring smiles are always a good idea. If you're searching for a cubicle gift, look for something that gives the worker's cubicle a fun or personalized feel.

Funny Gifts

Laughter in the workplace is often welcome. Find trophies in a craft store and award them to your fellow cubicle-dwellers; bestow titles like "Champion Procrastinator" or "Biggest Suck-Up." You could also gift a funny cubicle interior design book that explains how to use various themes, such as jungle or luau, to make a cubicle come alive. Or, gift a copy of "Office Space," widely considered to be the ultimate comedy for the cubicle worker.

Functional Gifts

For a female cubicle-dweller, gift a purse hook so she no longer needs to store her purse in a desk drawer. You could also try a desk blanket for workers in chilly offices. For the worker whose desk is frequently covered in crumbs or hole-puncher debris, try a mini desk vacuum. To avoid interrupting work to walk to the water cooler, give a miniature desk water cooler. Or, help keep fellow Internet surfers safe from discovery by the boss with a rearview mirror installed on the cubicle's top corner.

Decorative Gifts

Gift some pretty stationery so that she won't have to rely on boring yellow notepads anymore. Or, try a hanging photo display; workers can change photos quickly right from their seats. You could also gift retractable pens made in the likeness of a crayon for a fun and lighthearted touch, or try a business card holder made to look like a tiny filing cabinet. It will reduce clutter and give the desk an organized look. For an always-clean monitor, try a hanging screen cleaner in the shape of a little monster. It hangs on the monitor and is retractable for quick and easy cleaning.

Get your colleague a personalized badge holder or a new coffee mug with her name on it. You could also try a miniature refrigerator for storing just a few drinks at a time. Or, give a set of alternative computer key caps. Instead of ESC or ALT, they say things like "Oops!" or "Duh!" For making tough decisions. you could get a decision-making paperweight with a spinnable top. Spin the top and choose from answers like "Reorganize," "Pass the buck" and simply "Yes."
