Grieving the loss of a loved one is among the most difficult things that we do in our lives. That is why so many people rely on their faith to see them through their grief. Promise of Everlasting Life

The very foundation of Christianity is the concept that believers will enter heaven and have everlasting life. This can be of much comfort to grieving survivors, as they can trust that their loved ones are at peace.
John 14:1-4
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
Hosea 13:14
"I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?"
Isaiah 25:8
"He will swallow up death forever. The sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The Lord has spoken."
