Finding Christian games on the Internet can be difficult. Most of the popular games on the Internet, while not explicitly non-Christian, can leave parents wanting more for their children. However, there are many websites with games that are designed with the Christian in mind. These games can be explicitly Christian-themed like "Put Noah on the Ark" or simply be family-friendly.

The BibleWordGames website offers 10 different types of games for Christians who want to play word-based games, including: word searches, crossword puzzles and cryptograms. Also available here are jigsaw puzzles. There is a sub-site specifically designed for children. Many of the games, such as the crossword puzzles, may be printed out to be enjoyed offline at a later time. Sample games are free, but to download more, you must pay for the content. Some of them, such as "The Greedy Sponge" and "Eye See Things" are not overtly Christian, but do provide clean entertainment. "Noah's Ark Hidden Treasures" and "Get Bob to Church" provide children entertainment with good values and Bible-based scenarios. Faith Playground is another website that has culled the Internet for Christian games. For games to appear on this website, they need not be evangelical but must be appropriate, nonviolent and respectful of Christianity. "Shooter Games" include popping balloons and solving math problems. This website does not include advertisements, in order to remain respectful of each person's faith. Game categories include: Shooter, Racing, Adventure, Trivia, Puzzle, and Arcade. Faith Playground has developers making exclusive games for the website.(See Resources.)

ChristianComputerGames.net offers Bible games and stories in English, Dutch, German, Spanish and Swedish. There are coloring pages that can easily be printed. The Bible stories are illustrated with a basic vocabulary for young children. Stories include Queen Esther, The Robe of Joseph and the story of Easter. Games include "Bible Search," "David and Goliath" and "Bible Catch." While it is not the most sophisticated of websites, it does offer solid, Bible-based activities for children. (See Resources.)
