Light Purple Bedroom Colors

Light purple mixed with white and other pastels works particularly well in creating a soft and serene bedroom with a touch of sophistication. Most shades of purple are unexpected on furniture so they draw the eye. For this reason, it is a good idea to use purple for drama, as it will quickly dominate the colors around it. Soft Purple Walls

This makes the light purple soften the white and appear to float against the darker background. Add pops of blue and red on lamps, pillows or accent pieces to add dynamic contrast and energy.

Light purple mixed with white, crystal and mirrors is the perfect mixture for a bedroom designed in the Hollywood Glamour style. Use satins, velvets, lace and fur for the fabrics in the room. Cover the furniture in mirrors and bring in a chandelier, crystal lamps and silver and crystal accents. The effect is dramatic, luxurious and reminiscent of the glory days of the Hollywood studio starlet.
