Games for 65th Birthday
A 65th birthday is a milestone that sometimes marks retirement as well. If you're planning a 65th birthday party for a friend or loved one, also plan some games to pass the time and help guests get to know each other better. Keep in mind the age range of the guests and plan activities that are easy for all age groups. Does this Spark an idea?

Ice Breakers
-
Because all the guests might not know each other -- for example, if you invite coworkers and family members to the same event -- ice-breaker games are a good idea for a 65th birthday. One example is to give all the guests necklaces or leis. Give a prize to the person who collects the most necklaces or leis. If you says the word "no," you must give up your necklace to the person who got you to say no. Or ask each guest to tell three anecdotes about himself, one a lie and the other two truths, and let the other guests guess which is a lie.
Trivia Games
-
For a low-impact game, play a trivia game. Center the questions around the life of the birthday celebrant and divide guests into teams to guess the answers. Don't ask questions that are too intimate or embarrassing. You could also make a trivia game with questions about current events and trends from 65 years ago, when the birthday celebrant was born. Give the winning team a small prize.

Kids' Games
-
If you invite children to the party, keeping them busy will give the adults uninterrupted time to talk. Turn the kids into the photographers and give each kid a disposable camera. Challenge the children to take a picture with every relative at the party. This keeps the kids busy and captures memories. Keep children busy with sports games like baseball, softball, basketball or soccer if the party is during warm weather.
Other Games
-
Some games are good if mainly family members are invited. For example, you can give each guest a pen and paper with the names of each family member and tell guests to write down how the guest is related to the guest of honor. You can play other traditional games as well like a few rounds of Bingo. You can set out decks of cards for guests to play with at any point.
