Give creative gifts to a Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity member.

Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) is a women's fraternity founded in 1898 in Farmville, Virginia. According to the official ZTA website, as of 2009, the organization had over 207,000 members across 153 college campuses. Zetas have a partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and use this to promote their philanthropic efforts. ZTA's symbols include the strawberry and five-star crown and their official colors are turquoise blue and steel gray. Give appropriate gifts to a ZTA to celebrate her membership in the organization.

  1. Door Hanger

    • Create a door hanger for your favorite ZTA by purchasing a plain foam hanger at your local hobby store. Use glitter glue to decorate and write the name of the fraternity as well as the name of the member on the hanger. Use a variety of embellishments to enhance the hanger and include some of Zeta Tau Alpha's symbols such as a crown or strawberry. Secretly hang the gift on her door as a special surprise.

    Strawberry Basket

    • According to the fraternity, the strawberry became one of its official symbols when the founder was given a basket filled with them as a present. Make this gift by purchasing a small basket at your local home or craft store. Line the basket with turquoise tissue paper and purchase 2 pints of strawberries to place in the basket. Cover the basket in cellophane and tie a silver ribbon at the top to seal the gift.

    Personalized Crown

    • Zetas keep the true significance of the crown a secret unless you are an initiated member. However, this symbol is considered important to them. Purchase or make a five-pointed crown and decorate it with the name of the member. Use turquoise or silver paint pens or glitter glue to enhance your ZTA crown. On the back, write a special message to the recipient welcoming her to the fraternity or simply expressing your thanks for her help with the organization.

    Think Pink! T-Shirt

    • Zeta Tau Alpha partners with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and borrows their motto of, "Think Pink!" Purchase a "Think Pink" T-shirt for your favorite Zeta and personalize it further. Use iron-on black letters to place her name on the back of the shirt. Create enough shirts for each member of the organization and have her wear the gift for any philanthropic event as well as around campus for advertisement of the charity.
