Think Pink Costume Ideas
Celebrate your love of the color pink by dressing up in a pink costume for your next Halloween or costume party. Turn an ordinary costume such as a nurse or pirate costume into a pink costume by dying it pink or donning a pink wig while wearing it. Or you could go as an ironic pink toy, food or character from a movie or cartoon.

Barbie dressed in pink, lived in a pink "dream home" and drove a pink car. Dress up in a Barbie doll costume for your next costume party. If you don't already have long blond hair, buy a blond wig. Don a pink dress and accessorize with matching pink high heels. As a prop, make a life size doll box out of a wardrobe box and clear shower curtain. Paint the box pink, write "Mattel" and "Barbie" on the box and step inside.
Pink Ladies

Go to a costume party as a Pink Lady from the movie "Grease." Dress up as Rizzo, Frenchie or Marty by wearing black capri pants, white shirts and a pink jacket. Check local thrift stores for a 1950s pink jacket. Use fabric paint, glittered glue or an iron-on transfer to write "The Pink Ladies" on the back of the jacket. For accessories, tie a scarf around your neck or in your hair. Also, don't forget the black sunglasses.

Cotton Candy

Nothing is as sweet or pink as cotton candy, so dress up in a cotton candy cone. Wear white tights, leggings or pants so your legs look like a cotton candy cone. Put on a pink leotard, tank top or shirt. Drape 4 or 5 yards of pink tulle around your body and pin it in place. Fluff the tulle out so it looks like cotton candy. Use pink blush to turn your face pink. You can even turn your hair pink using dye, pink hairspray or a pink wig.
Pink Cartoon Characters

If you're not interested in making your own pink costume, rent or buy one from a costume store or online retailer. Choose from a variety of pink cartoon characters. Dress up as Cheer Bear the pink Care Bear, Minnie Mouse or Hello Kitty. If you're a Winnie the Pooh fan, go to the costume party as Piglet. You can also dress up as Snagglepuss or the Pink Panther.
