Tip

For best results, use a crunchy variety like Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, Fuji or Red Delicious. You can also double or triple the recipe by simply using more cinnamon and nutmeg.

Preheat the oven to 220°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Slice the apples into thin rounds, about 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick. Use a sharp knife or mandolin slicer. Carefully remove the seeds.

The total length of time depends on the thickness and moisture of your apple slices. Also, keep in mind that every oven is different.
