Brunch is a typical American meal between breakfast and lunch. Brunch is useful for meetings, those who sleep late or relaxing get togethers. This meal is often light, as it falls between two major meals. Finger foods at brunch are convenient and provide just enough food to feed a party.
No-Bake Granola Bars
Create granola bars for brunch in under 10 minutes. Use rice cereal, raisins, peanut butter and vanilla, among other ingredients, to create a healthy brunch finger food. Mix ingredients together and after the mixture cools, slice the bars into the desired size and serve on a decorative plate.
Fruit is traditional at brunch. Use a less juicy fruit, such as apples, to create finger foods. Simply toss the chopped apples with cinnamon and serve next to the granola bars. The cinnamon smell will add ambiance to the brunch and the apple taste will be reminiscent of fresh apple pie without the hassle.
In 20 minutes, finger pancakes from scratch can be ready to serve at a brunch. Combine flour, milk, baking powder and eggs with other ingredients to create a light batter. Cook the pancakes then allow them to cool before serving. Provide small containers of syrup for dipping at each plate for these finger food brunch pancakes.
Quesadillas are suitable for a brunch falling later in the morning. Create simple chicken or cheese quesadillas with burrito wraps and any desired ingredients. This recipe may be created on a griddle or in a frying pan. Simply lay the wrap in the pan, add the ingredients and then flip after two short minutes of cooking. Allow the quesadillas to cool then slice and serve.
