Chlorophyll is found in plants after photosynthesis occurs.

After photosynthesis occurs in plants, chlorophyll is produced. Chlorophyll is what keeps plants alive. Many people may not know chlorophyll is also beneficial to human health. It can be used to help treat disease and cleanse organs and the digestive tract. It is also a good nutritional supplement that promotes health in humans and animals. Liquid chlorophyll is available at health food stores and online.

  1. Disease Treatment

    • Chlorophyll acts similar to iron in the human body. It builds red blood cells and kills bacteria. It has been used in treating blood and bone diseases, such as leukemia. Chlorophyll also thickens red blood cells. This helps build the immune system to fight off infections and other ailments.

    Nutritional Supplement

    • Chlorophyll contains calcium which helps increase bone, tooth and nail strength. It helps prevent and treat arthritis and hip dysplasia which can be caused from low calcium intake. Chlorophyll also helps the body heal sores or abscesses. Chlorophyll can help get rid of body odor as well.

    Organs and Digestion

    • Chlorophyll is a natural body cleanser. As it goes through the human body, it cleans and deodorizes the intestines. It also cleanses the liver by getting rid of toxins. Chlorophyll can help with constipation, diarrhea and other digestion problems.

    Pets

    • Chlorophyll can also help the family pet. It has the same effect on animals that it does on humans. Chlorophyll helps heal sores or abscesses and helps cleanse an animal of any harmful toxins. It can also help older dogs with arthritis.
