European women have gained a reputation for being natural beauties. They use minimal makeup and prefer common, natural products to enhance their beauty. Often they look to their garden, environment and pantry to make inexpensive and effective beauty potions and treatments. Here are some natural beauty tips from European women. European women use natural treatments for beautiful hair. To keep their hair shiny and healthy, Scottish women use sea kelp, which is high in vitamins A, B, C and E. They mix one tablespoon of kelp powder with two cups of warm water and massage it into their scalp for two minutes.
In France, women often mix one-half cup of flour with one-half cup of barley flour. Then they add a cup of distilled water and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix well. They spoon the mixture onto dry hair, saturating all strands of hair with the paste. Then they cover with a shower cap and leave the mix on for 20 to 30 minutes. Using cool water, they rinse the hair thoroughly and then shampoo as usual, rinsing with cool water.
In Greece women rinse their hair in rosemary water. In Italy they use whipped egg whites instead of mousse.
Skin Treatments

Clay facials improve circulation and detoxify the skin. In Greece, women use three to four tablespoons of olive oil mixed with a quarter-cup of sugar to exfoliate rough skin and then wash away the dead skin. They also use clay to absorb oil. It draws out toxins from the skin and improves circulation.
In France, women remove their makeup with a dab of sweet almond oil.

Women slice a few and lay them on their eyelids for a few minutes to reduce puffiness. In Germany to reduce puffy eyes women use chamomile teabags. They steep the teabags in hot water for a few minutes and let them cool before placing over the eye.

Honey and mink oil are used to fight wrinkles. In Poland, women give their faces an intensive moisturizing treatment with a thin layer of honey. It is a popular remedy for wrinkles. It firms and protects skin from damaging sun rays. It is also used by Polish teens to plump and soften lips.
Many European dermatologists also recommend using mink oil to reduce the banes of aging skin, including age spots, wrinkles and scars.
