Drinks That Glow Under Blacklights
While drinks can't glow in the dark, some drinks can glow under a black light. Tonic water glows under black lights so be sure to include it as a basic mixer. You could also freeze tonic water into ice cubes to be used in more drinks. There are a few specific drinks that also glow under a black light. Does this Spark an idea?

Nuclear Fallout

Nuclear Fallout is a layered shot. First pour in 1/3 shot amaretto liqueur, then 1/3 shot Irish cream liqueur and 1/3 shot Jagermeister liquor.
Austrian Hussar

An Austrian Hussar is a simple drink with a fun name. Pour 3 oz. apricot brandy into a highball glass filled with ice --- this would be a good time to use tonic water ice cubes --- and fill to the top with tonic water. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.

A Red Tonic, as per the name, is a drink made with tonic water but has a fun red glow. Try serving red tonics in a tray filled with dry ice at Halloween parties for a spooky effect. Shake 4 oz. vodka, 2 oz. grenadine syrup and 1 oz. lemon juice with ice and strain into a highball glass. Add 5 oz. tonic water and serve with a cherry as a garnish.
Lady Marmalade

The Lady Marmalade is a good drink for a cocktail party. Mix 1 oz. gin and 1/2 oz. triple sec in a wine glass then fill almost to the top with lemonade. Float 1/3 oz. cherry advocaat on top and garnish with an orange wheel.
Mind Eraser

A Mind Eraser is a strong drink so don't have too many or you really will forget the rest of the evening. Pour 2 oz. vodka, 2 oz. coffee liqueur and 2 oz. tonic water into an old fashioned glass and serve with a straw.
Gin & Pink

Gin and Pink is also known as Pink Gin in the United Kingdom; it glows pink because of the tonic water and bitters used in the recipe. Fill a highball glass with tonic water ice cubes. Add 2 oz. gin, 5 oz. tonic water and 2 dashes bitters. Stir the drink thoroughly and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
Long Vodka

A Long Vodka is similar to a Gin & Pink in that it glows pink under a black light. It's a popular drink in Scotland. Shake a 16 oz. glass with ice cubes and 4 dashes bitters to coat the glass with the bitters. Pour in 2 oz. vodka, the juice of half a lime, and fill to the top with tonic water. Garnish with a lime wedge.
