When wrapped, these chocolate kisses can make cute and colorful crafts.

Hershey's kisses have been around since 1907, and over 24 million kisses are produced every day in a variety of different colored foil wrappers. Besides being delicious, Hershey's kisses can also make a unique supply for cute and creative crafts that can be made with little more than the chocolate pieces.

  1. Chocolate Mice

    • Mice can be an annoying pest, except when they are made from chocolate. These cute little mice are cheap, easy to make and guaranteed to delight anyone who sees them. To begin, glue two foil-wrapped chocolate kisses together so that the points are both pointing outward. As the glue dries, cut out large ears from construction paper or felt, and glue them into the gap between the kisses. Add craft eyes and a pink pipe cleaner for the tail. For the finishing touch, add a small pink pompom onto the tip of the front kiss for the nose.

    Rosebuds

    • For a cheap, but elegant, gift for your valentine, create rosebuds from chocolate kisses. Red cellophane should be cut into a square and laid on a table, so that two wrapped kisses can be placed diagonally onto it with points toward the corners. You should then fold the cellophane so that one corner of the kisses are seamlessly covered and the cellophane is gathered at the other end. A folded chenille stem should then be wrapped tightly around the gathered cellophane to hold it. Wrap the chenille stem in green florist's tape to create a seamless rosebud. For a lovely gift, make a dozen of these roses and place them in a vase with artificial ferns.

    Chocolate Trees

    • A cute holiday centerpiece can bring the holiday spirit into your home. An edible centerpiece makes a unique addition to any table. A polystyrene cone will form the base of your edible Christmas tree. Glue the flat end of green foil-wrapped chocolate kisses in lines around the cone. For additional aesthetic appeal, glue additional silver and red wrapped kisses, point inward, into the gaps between the green kisses. For the finishing touch, glue on a final, gold foil-wrapped kiss to the tip of the polystyrene cone as the star. Add it to your holiday table for compliments from your friends and family.

    Lollipop Flowers

    • For a more whimsical and easy craft for kids, create a cute lollipop flower using a lollipop stick and some chocolate kisses. A small piece of colored cardboard makes a sturdy surface for your kisses to be glued onto. Place the kisses so that the points face toward the center of the cardboard, and glue a pompom to the center to cover the tips of the kisses. The cardboard should then be glued onto a lollipop stick. For the finishing touch, cut a leaf shape out of construction paper and draw on veins before gluing the leaf onto the lollipop stick.
