Uni-ball Pen Types

Uni-ball manufactures writing instruments of all types, including roller ball pens, gel pens and retractable pens, and in numerous colors and point sizes. In addition, Uni-ball develops certain pens with ink that protects documents such as checks from being washed or erased for fraudulent purposes. Uni-ball pens can be purchased at most office supply stores, grocery stores and discount department stores.

  1. Jetstream Pens

    • Uni-ball's Jetstream pens have ink that helps protect documents from being altered. The ink dries fast, writes smoothly and is fade-resistant and water resistant as well, according to the Uni-ball website. Categories include the retractable Jetstream Premier, Jetstream RT and Jetstream Sport and the capped Jetstream pens. Pen point sizes are available in 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm, depending on the Jetstream pen. Some ink colors available include red, blue and black.

    Vision Pens

    • The Uni-ball Vision pens are roller pens that offer clear views of the pen's inside to allow users to gauge ink levels. The Vision product line offers a variety of pens, including the Vision Elite, Vision RT, Vision Exact and Vision Needle. The Vision Elite is a capped pen available in eight ink colors including purple, orange and black. It does not leak while flying on an airplane and the ink is water- and fade-resistant, claims Uni-ball. The Vision Elite point size is 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm. Vision RT are retractable pens that come in five colors. Vision Exact and Vision Needle capped pens come in eight different ink colors. The point size ranges from 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm. They also protect against check fraud and altering documents.

    Fusion Pens

    • Fusion pens are capped pens available in four different colors: grey, purple, pink and blue with outside pen colors to match the ink. The roller-ball pen's see-through barrel sports pastel floral designs on the outside and allows you the ability to monitor the ink level. It is available in a 0.66 mm medium point size.

    Impact

    • The Impact RT is a retractable gel pen and the Impact is a capped gel pen. Impact pens feature a black grip and are available in several colors, including blue, red and black in the both pens and gold and silver additionally in the Impact. The pen produces long, thick bold lines with the 1.0 mm point size. Additionally, the ink is water and fade resistant.

    207

    • The 207 Uniball pens are acid-free gel writing devices with water- and fade-resistant ink that helps protect against altering checks or other documents. The basic 207 retractable style is available in eight ink colors, including pink, black, light blue and green. The retractable 207 LTD comes in a variety of metallic-colored barrels, and the retractable 207 Premier is a silver-toned pen. All 207 varieties have a textured grip, and the point size is available from 0.5 mm to 0.7 mm.
