Tricks for Dream Chronicles 2
"Dream Chronicles 2" is a direct sequel to its predecessor, with a storyline that flows from the first. The game combines elements of both hidden object and puzzle games. Because of the nature of puzzle games, it's easy to get stuck. Sometimes, all it takes to get unstuck is a different way of thinking.

Finding Items
-
If you are stuck on a puzzle because you can't find something, watch for the twinkling light that appears every few seconds. The light twinkles in either the area of an object you haven't yet picked up -- whether a dream piece or something needed for a specific puzzle -- or a location you need to move to or pay closer attention to. Sometimes things can be opened or moved. If you hover your pointer over an item, the tip that pops up about the item can shed light on whether it's useful to you.
Dream Jewels and Pieces
-
Dream pieces are scattered around all the scenes you pass through. Sometimes they are hidden extremely well. You don't have to gather them all -- or any -- to win the game, but they do help, and the more you collect, the better your final score. As you collect dream pieces, you complete dream jewels. You can meditate on your completed dream jewels, and a riddle will appear. Solving these riddles will benefit you because each solved riddle produces a hint to help you later in the game.

Mazes
-
"Dream Chronicles 2" contains two mazes. Neither maze is enormous, but it's still easy to get turned around. If you find yourself stuck, try finding a corner, and drawing yourself a map of your progress as you move out of the corner. That way, when you get turned around, you can use your map to tell what direction you should go to find your way into an unexplored part of the maze.
Solving Puzzles
-
If you get stuck on a puzzle and can't find a way to become unstuck, reset it. You'll restart from the beginning of the level, and sometimes this fresh start is what you need to find the solution. Also, if you are playing "Dream Chronicles 2" for the second time, not all the items will be in the same location, which means solving puzzles will be a little different each time.
