Ideas for Baby Shower Favors for Men
While many baby showers are all-female events, as fathers become more and more involved in the day-to-day raising of their children, some of the baby showers you attend in the future may be co-ed. When hosting a baby shower for both men and women, you probably want to scale back the ruffles, bows and pastel colors that adorn most baby showers. Additionally, the baby shower favors should also be appealing to both men and women, or you can offer different favors for the men and women.

Sweets
-
Everyone loves dessert, so consider offering sweet treats for the guests at a co-ed baby shower. For example, you can bake a batch of sugar cookies shaped like baby shoes, onesies or rattles and frost the cookies with pink or blue icing, depending on the gender of the baby. You could also fill a decorative bag with pink or blue candy-coated chocolates. If the parents do not yet know the gender of the baby, place both pink and blue candies in the bag and frost half of the cookies pink and the other half blue.
Cigars
-
Cigars have long been a traditional way for men to congratulate a father on a new birth. Consider giving male guests at the bridal shower a cigar as a favor. Choose cigars from a local cigar shop or consider purchasing personalized cigars. You can have a band made for each cigar that will reads "Welcome Baby [Name]!" The guys can smoke their cigars (outside) and anticipate the birth of the new baby.

Sports Goody Bag
-
Consider creating a sports-themed goody bag for the men at the party. You could include all sorts of items in the goody bag, such as golf balls in either blue or pink, depending on the gender of the baby. Alternatively, you can give sweat bands in pink or blue, tennis balls, a pedometer, golf tees and other small items that are applicable to the sports that the male attendees enjoy.
Homemade Jam
-
Consider giving a baby shower favor of homemade jam or jelly. Choose a selection of locally made, organic jams or jellies made from fruits like grapes, peaches, apricots or blueberries. If you make your own homemade jams or jellies, consider making the favors in recycled baby food jars so that they bring home the theme of the event.
