Practical jokes are fun to play on family and friends at any location, whether you are eating at a restaurant or vacationing in Aspen. There are many practical jokes you can play on people right at home using simple household items. Wait for a period of time between your pranks so that your victims will be caught by surprise when you try out a new practical joke on them.

Insane Clown

Apply some makeup to your face, starting with a pale white coating. Apply eye shadow from your eyelid all the way to your eyebrow. Then apply red blush to your cheeks, making a large circle. Turn a light on while your victim is sleeping and wake him up to see the insane clown in his bedroom.

Sudsy Car Wash

This joke works best on a sunny day right before your victim is going to wash his car. Unscrew the garden hose and pour an entire container of dish soap inside it. Then screw the hose back into the spigot. The hose will shoot out very sudsy soap onto the car for a long time.

Changing Labels

Carefully remove the labels on two cans of food and then switch them around. Use a knife to remove the labels without tearing them. Glue the wrong labels back onto the cans to deceive the cook.

Hanging Spider

Purchase a toy spider of any size or color and hang it from the ceiling right outside of your victim's bedroom door. This will evince a quick scream when the person leaves his bedroom.

TV Remote Prank

Take the batteries out of the television's remote and stick a piece of transparent tape over the battery terminals. Then put the batteries back in over the tape. This will prevent the batteries from meeting the power supply on the remote, thereby making it inoperable. It works best to play this joke on somebody when he is about to sit down to watch his favorite show.

Short Sheet Trick

Go into your victim's bedroom and tuck his bedsheet a few inches shorter than usual. Tuck the sheet tightly so that the victim will have considerable problems tugging at the sheet for length.

Sneeze Spray Prank

Cup your hand and fill it with water or orange juice. Then walk behind your victim and make a strong sneezing noise and drop the liquid on the back of his neck. If you still have enough liquid in your hand you can then sneeze again on your victim's face or hands.

Why Is My Stuff In Here?

Remove a noticeable object from a room and place it in a different room. Do this with one object per day until your victim catches on to the joke. This can take years before the person finally notices you sleeping in his bed.
