"Civilization Revolution" Tips & Tricks
"Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution" is a strategic game that challenges you to create and build your own empire from scratch. You choose a civilization, improve its resources and try and take control of the game's world. You can improve your performance by learning hot to attack, build new structures and earn achievements to show your prowess.

Awards

You get gamer points and awards for achievements. You get awards and 15 gamer points for beating the game. You get awards and 20 points for winning in elements of the game such as economy and culture. Find any of the ancient artifacts such as the Ark of the Covenant to get an award and nine points. Unlock every famous character from history to get an award and 45 points.
Area Attributes

Each area in the game is better for certain attributes. The plains, tundra and grasslands are all preferable for building up food resources. The plains offer the most potential growth if you add a granary. The desert and sea are best for trade. The desert offers the most trade possibilities, while the sea also offers food if you build a harbor. The hills, mountains and forests are best for production. Build a workshop for added hill production and a mine for added mountain production.

Structures

The bank costs 120 production points and increases your civilization's gold. Cathedrals cost 160 production points and help you in culture points. The courthouse costs 80 production points and lets you build onto your city more than you normally can. Factories cost 200 production points but help to increase your production points the rest of the way. Build a harbor for 100 production points and gain food points each time you add a water tile.
Special Wonders

You find wonders throughout the game that give you special powers. Get the oracle to know if you will win your upcoming battles before attempting them. The Great Wall keeps opposing armies from attacking you. Stonehenge adds to your production-point total and the pyramids give you the ability to use any type of government in your civilization. Increase your technology by building Oxford University and double your gold by building the Trade Fair of Troyes.
