FedEx's Delivery Options
FedEx is one of the shipping and delivery businesses in the country, along with United Parcel Service or the United States Postal Service. FedEx allows you to send both envelopes and packages through different methods, each with their own delivery estimates and guarantees. FedEx shipping methods range from same-day shipping to five business days, with costs increasing for faster shipping methods.

FedEx Home Delivery

FedEx Ground
-
FedEx ground transports packages up to 150 pounds, with an estimated delivery time from one to five business days, depending on destination. FedEx ground does not deliver to P.O. boxes, transport hazardous materials and has limitations on outbound service for certain locations in Alaska and Hawaii.

FedEx Express Saver

FedEx Express Saver transports packages up to 150 pounds in the continental United States. Delivery is guaranteed by 4:30 p.m. to businesses and 7 p.m. to home residences in three days. FedEx Overnight
-
FedEx offers overnight shipping with a guarantee by 3 p.m. to most addresses and 4:30 p.m. to most rural locations Monday through Friday. For an additional fee, overnight shipping can be set up for the next business morning or first thing the next business day. It has a 150-pound package limit and includes options including delivery signature options, holding at a FedEx location, dangerous good shipping and Saturday pickup.
FedEx SameDay
-
FedEx same day delivery sends items cross-country or city within hours. It has the same limits as other shipping methods, including a 150 pound package limit. The service is available in all 50 states, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. If the package is above 70 pounds, prior approval must be made to ship.
