Drinks With Banana Rum
Take a sip of a drink with banana rum, and thoughts of palm trees and white sand beaches come to mind. Like many tropical and fruity cocktails, rum is the star of the show, made from the abundant sugarcane in the Caribbean. Tropical fruit flavors such coconut, pineapple and banana are added to enhance the flavor of rum, which is made from distilled sugarcane. Banana rum is used to make several memorable drinks. Latin Love

This fruity and creamy drink combines two kinds of rum with ice cream and fruit juices. Pour 1 oz. each of coconut rum and banana rum into a blender along with 1 oz. of heavy cream, 3 oz. of pineapple juice, 1 oz. of raspberry juice, 1 oz. of coconut cream and one scoop of ice. The mixture is blended smooth and poured into glasses rimmed with grenadine and grated coconut.
Voodoo Juice

This drink, commonly served in New Orleans bars and restaurants, packs a powerful punch with fives kinds of rum. One oz. each of banana, orange, coconut and pineapple flavored rum is added to a shaker along with a 1 1/2 oz. each of cranberry juice, orange juice and pineapple juice. The drink is poured over a tall glass of ice and topped off with a 1/2 oz. of dark rum.

This creamy drink embodies the flavor of flamed bananas with real bananas mixed in. A whole banana is added to a blender with one scoop of vanilla ice cream, 1 oz. of banana liqueur, 1/2 oz. of banana rum, 1/2 oz. butterscotch schnapps and 3/4 oz. dark rum. The mixture is blended smooth and poured into a glass, topped off with another 1/2 oz. of dark rum. A banana slice is used for garnish. For a dramatic effect, light the rum on fire when serving.
Dirty Banana Number Two

For this simple cocktail, 3 oz. of Irish cream is poured into a glass filled with ice, followed by 2 oz. of banana rum and 1 oz. of cream on top. Do not shake or stir the drink as it is supposed to be served with the three ingredients separated. It will mix as the drink is sipped.
Southern Bahama Mama

A strong banana rum adds a flavorful twist to the classic Bahama Mama. Combine 1 oz. of 100 proof banana rum with 1/2 oz. of light rum, 1/2 oz. dark rum, 1 oz. of coconut rum, 3 oz. of banana juice and 3 oz. of pineapple juice. The mixture is shaken and poured into a glass full of ice, garnished with pineapple rings and a maraschino cherry.

This fizzy drink combines rum with a little bit of vodka. One oz. of banana rum, 2 oz. of pomegranate juice, a dash of sweet and sour mix and a splash of vodka is added to a cocktail shaker with ice, then strained into a glass. One oz. of lemon-lime soda is added on top for a fizzy, flavorful drink.
