Jungle Theme Baby Shower Centerpiece Ideas
When expecting either a girl or a boy baby, a jungle-themed baby shower is appropriate. Use jungle animals such as monkeys, leopards, elephants and tigers to create centerpieces that utilize either edible components or baby-useful items, such as diapers or stuffed animals. Does this Spark an idea?

Diaper Cake
-
A diaper cake is a nonedible cake make from diapers and baby supplies. Create a jungle-themed diaper cake with one of two options. The first is to make a traditional diaper cake and decorate it with jungle-themed trinkets. Alternatively, make a diaper cake in the shape of an animal, such as a . Either way, begin by rolling the diapers up and securing them with rubber bands. For the traditional diaper cake, place the diapers in a circular pattern on cake rounds and secure them together with a large rubber band. Create subsequent tiers the same way; wrap the tiers with ribbon. Then insert jungle-themed trinkets such as pacifiers or bibs with monkeys, tigers or elephants on them. For a monkey-shaped diaper cake, attach lengths of diapers together to make the tail, arms and legs. Make the head out of an unfolded diaper and the body a rolled-up blanket. Then add details to the monkey, like ears made from baby socks and googly eyes. Place the finished product on a table as a centerpiece.
Stuffed Animals
-
Create a mini-jungle by covering the table with fake, green grass. Place green plants, such as ferns, around the table. Feed lengths of Christmas lights through the plants and around the grass. Place small stuffed animals around the grass and hanging from the plants to create a jungle scene. Place little parrots, snakes and monkeys in the plants, and tigers, elephants and leopards around on the grass. Let the mother-to-be take home the small stuffed animals after the shower.

Cake
-
Create a jungle-themed cake as your party's centerpiece. Carve a cake in the shape of a monkey's head. Alternatively, use a cake pan shaped like a tiger's head to create the cake. A tiered cake with small plastic jungle animals is yet another idea. Or, if you prefer cupcakes, place small plastic animals on top of frosted cupcakes.
Cookie Bouquets
-
Make cookie bouquets out of jungle-themed cookies. Cut out sugar cookies shaped like jungle animals and place them on wooden skewers. Decorate the cookies using colored frosting. Then place the skewers into a vase to create an edible cookie bouquet. To keep the skewers from slipping, place florist foam in the bottom of the vase first.
