Easier on the hand than regular pens, the Waterman Expert writes with a light pressure much less tiring than standard ballpoints or pencils. Its exterior is marked by a black lacquer finish with 23.3 karat gold trim and a medium point. At $80, it's a tad pricey for a pen, however, the lifespan of fountain pens tend to run upwards of 20 years as opposed to a few months with a cheap ballpoint.
