Celebrity Twitter feeds getting media attention, a Twitter logo on your favorite products and companies or even a network sitcom based entirely on a popular Twitter feed -- Twitter has become a major player in pop culture.

Pronounced as "Bleep My Dad Says," $#*! My Dad Says is a CBS sitcom starring veteran actor -- and Twitter user -- William Shatner. The show is based on the Twitter feed of the same name, sans swear symbols, started by Justin Halpern. The original feed considers of colorful and often profane comments and musings made by his father. The show is the first in broadcast history to be based on a Twitter feed. It premiered in September 2010 and, at the date of this publication, airs Thursday nights on CBS.
