Mix together 16 oz. marscapone cheese, 3 beaten egg whites, 3 beaten egg yolks and 1 tbsp. coffee liqueur. Add a 1/3 of the mixture to the cake pan, and then add another layer of soaked lady fingers. Top again with the filling, and continue until you have completed 3 layers of each. The final layer should be of lady fingers. This acts as sort of a top crust, holding the entire cake in place. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
