Fast and Easy Ideas for Fundraising
Organizing a fundraiser is an ideal way to raise funds for your group, whether it be for uniforms for a kids athletic group or a new church program. If you're short on time and resources, you may need to put together a quick and easy fundraiser, which can be just as effective as a more time-consuming project.
-
Food
-
You can sell food items to the community with basic preparations. Sell candy bars at a basketball game and rice cereal bars during lunch at school, or make an entire meal for a group and charge per person. For example, a church group can make stacks of pancakes and sell them before morning services.
Tickets
-
Selling tickets to an event is easy if your group has a performance aspect to it. For a baseball team, put together a fundraising game, and invite the community to buy tickets to attend. Or, put on a dance performance by a dance troupe or a singing performance for a choral group.

Recipe Book
-
Consider putting together a recipe book to sell, which can be made with just a computer and printer. Have every member of your group or club submit a recipe. Type up all of the entries, and print them on colored paper. Place the pages in binders, and sell at your church, during a community event or at the local library.
Cards
-
You can sell basic cards or telegrams and hand deliver them around the holidays. This works well for school clubs looking to drum up some funds. For $1, students can purchase a holiday gram and write a message to a friend. You can deliver the cards throughout the school day and pocket the profits.
