Rope Lighting Ideas
Rope lighting consists of a clear, flexible plastic tube with a row of little light bulbs inside, spaced evenly. You can purchase these lights in different lights such as white, blue or red. Some rope lights flash on and off while others twinkle. You can even cut your rope lights to the desired length. However, if a bulb burns out, you must replace the entire rope. Rope lighting can add light to dark kitchen cabinets, bookcases or closest shelves. Line the inside of the shelves with rope lights so you can find things easier. Add a little bit of fun and whimsy to your child's room with rope lighting. Rope lighting stays cools when turned on so if you kid touches the rope, he won't burn himself. Hang the lights from the ceiling or lay them along the edges of the walls. Use them for lighting in a homemade fort. Wrap the headboard or bed frame with the lights. The lights can also act as a nightlight. Choose rope lights in your child's favorite color or use multiple colors.
