If you or your daughter is turning sixteen, you already know the significance of this major milestone birthday. The planning of the party can be as exciting as the party itself. Two Truths and a Lie

See if you can figure out the lie. A great way to break the ice is by playing Two Truths and a Lie. Each player tells the group three things about herself. Two must be the truth and one must be a lie. It is up to the others in the room to pick the lie. The point of the game is to stump the other contestants.
Karaoke

Host a talent show to name the Birthday Idol. People of all ages love to sing along with favorite and familiar tunes. Karaoke systems are available to rent from party supply companies if you do not own one. Teens can sing solo or have a duet with others. Host a talent show. The crowd selects the winner by popular vote.

Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger hunts keep teens busy and competitive. Provide the teens with a list of 15 to 20 items to find within a set perimeter. Items can be inside, outside or even involve other contestants. For example, find someone who was born in July or find someone born the same year as you. The first person to complete the list wins.
Truth or Dare

While this classic game has been around longer the attendees have been alive, Truth or Dare is still just as popular and fun as ever. Start with the birthday girl. She selects another person and asks "Truth or Dare".
Based on his response, she will either ask a question he must answer truthfully, or she dares him to do something. It can be silly or crazy. As long as it is not dangerous, laughter will surely follow.
Who Am I?

Write the names of famous people on note cards or pieces of paper. Attach them to the backs of party guests with tape. The players ask each other questions to figure who their person is. Questions must be in "yes or no" format. The first person to guess correctly wins.
