Machines that are used for commercial purposes also exist, but are typically purchased from restaurant wholesale distribution companies.

Many major home appliance brands manufacture at-home yogurt machines. Cuisinart, Salton and Euro-Cuisine are among the top brands. Most brands offer the ability to make large batches of yogurt by the quart, with some newer models offering a system to prepare ready-to-eat cups.
