The Caterpillar 303 is a mini excavator designed for use in the construction and landscaping industries. It was equipped with a number of features including high rotation bucket angle to help prevent accidental spillage, a dozer blade float function to provide easy ground leveling and load sensing hydraulics, meant to help boost fuel economy. The Caterpillar 303 is no longer produced.
