Design the invitations to resemble backstage VIP passes and place them in clear plastic pockets. Hand out the invitations to your party guests or mail them in padded envelopes. Another idea for invitations is to use plastic toy microphones. Take a black permanent marker and write the party details on the side of the microphones. Hand the invitations out or mail to your guests in small boxes. Tell your party guests to dress rock star style for the party by wearing things like their favorite rock band's T-shirt, a crazy wig, dark makeup and Mohawks.

Host a rock star contest for your party guests to see who has what it takes to become the next big thing. Divide the guests into groups of three or four and send each group to a different room. The guests must dance and sing to their favorite rock song, adding their own dance moves and words to the song. After 20 minutes, have each group perform their song and dance. Award a prize to the best, funniest and scariest rock star bands.
