The South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault oversees all domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers in South Carolina. The coalition works to raise awareness of the severity of domestic violence, as well as to support measures that get victims of domestic violence the help they need. The center seeks to help and empower battered women and their children. My Sister's House has a program designed specifically for children that provides educational and therapeutic activities. The center's shelter program also offers women parenting and living skills classes.
