Tricks for PES 2009 for the PC
"Pro Evolution Soccer 2009" is a video game produced by Konami that is available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, X-Box 360, PC and Windows Mobile. The game, part of the "Pro Evolution Soccer" series (called "Winning Eleven" in the United States), has the exclusive license to use UEFA Champions League teams and players. In the PC version, a player may utilize tricks to unlock classic teams and players, use real team logos and evade defenders during shots and free kicks.
-
Classic Teams
-
Unlocking a classic team requires successfully completing a specific task with a specific team. Some of these tasks include winning the International Cup with Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy or the Netherlands. Completing the requirement using one of these teams unlocks the use of its "classic" version.
Classic Players
-
Fulfilling certain conditions allows players the chance to unlock classic players, such as Schmeichel, Chilavert and Best, although the players use fake names. Winning the African Cup of Nations, American Cup, European Cup and Asia-Oceania Cup in League/Cup mode unlocks these players. Winning the Eredivisie, Premiership, Ligue 1, La Liga and Serie A in League Mode unlocks between five and 11 players for each league. Lastly, winning everything in the Master League (D1 Cup, D1 League, D2 Cup, D2 League, UEFA Cup and Champions League) unlocks more than 70 classic players.

Team Logos
-
Use the Internet to download the logo of a wanted team in a ".png" format. Enter the game and select "edit team." Select "edit emblem." Choose the .png logo file to switch the team's emblem to the real version.
Scoring and Free Kick Tricks
-
Some of the tricks for shooting and free kicks include pressing and holding the "D" button to perform a manual cross; pressing the "D" button twice to perform a low cross; pressing the "A" button after power-up to shoot and then pressing and holding "C" to shoot from distance; pressing and holding the "Q" button to lob the ball toward the goal and moving from the strong foot direction to the weak side; and shooting at the far end of the post to perform a weak-foot goal shot.
