Beauty Tips on the Go
Whether you are on a hectic business trip or are leaving town for a quick weekend getaway, you always want to make sure that you look your very best, even with limited time. Step-saving grooming products help you look refreshed and put together, even when you are pressed for time, away from home and out of your element. Does this Spark an idea?

Dry Shampoo
-
When you've been in a car or a plane for five hours, you might start to worry that your hair is looking greasy and lifeless, and perhaps not smelling its best. A quick spritz of dry shampoo can do the trick for revitalizing your tresses, reducing oil and making your hair smell fragrant and clean. An alternative is baby cornstarch. Keep a travel-size container in your purse or travel bag. A tablespoon or so sprinkled in the hair, then brushed out after a few minutes, will absorb oil and freshen locks.
Scarves
-
If you're on-the-go and stressed out about your hair starting to look out of control, consider tying it up in a scarf. It's classier than a baseball cap and your choice of headwear will be viewed less as a fashion emergency and more as a fashion statement. This Grace Kelly-inspired look is a particularly smart idea for cross-country airplane trips.

Tinted Moisturizer
-
Instead of weighing down your face with a heavy foundation, protect your skin with a lightweight tinted moisturizer. Choose one with sun protection for daytime use. Apply a concealer to camouflage problem areas on your skin, such as blemishes or under-eye circles. Keep concealer in your handbag for easy touch-ups, any time.
Avoid Mascara
-
Resist the temptation to wear mascara while traveling. Mascara dramatizes your lashes, but the formula can flake or smear, particularly if you rub your eyes or take a nap, which many people do on long journeys. Apply mascara after you reach your destination, and certainly not while you are in motion during transit.
Hand Treatments
-
When traveling, skin can quickly dehydrate, particularly on the hands. This problem is especially noticeable in environments without fresh air, such as airplanes and trains. To combat dry hands, apply cream that contains rich hydrating ingredients like shea or cocoa butter. Reapply after washing your hands.
Lip Gloss
-
Avoid using heavy lipsticks while on the go. Lipstick can be hard to reapply while traveling and can smear after naps or meals. Instead, opt for a lighter and easier-to-apply choice, such as lip gloss or lip balm, which can be applied without the assistance of a mirror.
