Homecoming T-shirt Ideas
It is homecoming and you want to show your school pride. An effective way to demonstrate your spirit is by wearing homecoming T-shirts. Homecoming T-shirts, which are typically in the school colors, can be designed in a variety of ways. Whether you make the T-shirts yourself or buy them at a store, wearing a homecoming shirt prepares you for the school festivities.

Group Tees
-
Many high school and college students enjoy attending homecoming games in large groups. If this is your plan, get together with the other members of your party and host a T-shirt design party. Everybody pitches in a certain amount of money and one or two people are in charge of gathering the supplies, such as the T-shirts and fabric paint. As a group, decorate the T-shirts by painting on the school name, team name, your graduation year or particular football players' names and jersey numbers. You can even add embellishments, such as glitter and rhinestones, or tear holes in the tees to make them look rugged and worn.
Special Order
-
You can special order homecoming T-shirts from online companies that print designs onto T-shirts and deliver them to your door. With this option you do not have to mess with arts and crafts since the T-shirts are ready to wear when you get them. If a group of your friends want to all buy the same T-shirt, you may get a discounted price for ordering in bulk. Online companies have a variety of sizes to choose from and designs are available for men and women.

Jerseys
-
Wearing a jersey to a homecoming game or for homecoming festivities is an authentic way to show your pride. Many colleges sell football jerseys of their primary players. Or, if you happen to know the football player, see if he will let you borrow one of his jerseys for the night. If you purchase a jersey from a store, feel free to embellish it with glitter or cut off the sleeves and style it the way you want.
Spelling T-shirts
-
A spelling t-shirt requires enough group members in your party to create, since each T-shirt holds only one letter in a word. If a group of friends wants to spell out the word "homecoming," there will need to be 10 people willing to wear a T-shirt with a particular letter. When the group stands together, they will spell the word. This is a great way to show your team pride to the players on the field and other people at school. Make sure you use the school or team colors when creating spelling T-shirts.
